Luis and Jeanne moved to San Francisco in 1989. In their early years living in SF, they drove rickshaws and worked as bike mechanics. In 2001, they built Bay City Bike – their dream business combining their favorite activity (biking) and showing others their favorite city (SF)! As one of the oldest bike shops in the city, we pride ourselves on our local heritage, knowledgeable staff, and strong community ties.
