Once you’ve explored San Francisco’s most fascinating landmark on an Alcatraz Prison Tour, hop on an Electric bike to enjoy the coastline that surrounds it.
NOTE: The day you book is the Alcatraz Tour; We will book your Ebike rental for the day. Call us after booking if you want to do the ebike rental the same day as the Alcatraz tour.
Riders will be instructed on the biking route, and then provided a proper Ebike fitting and outfitted with a current year model bike with front handlebar bag, rear gear rack, and takeaway map. Riders may journey wherever they would like for full-day use. We recommend following the bike path along the San Francisco waterfront past Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, the Marina, and the Presidio, through Crissy Field and to Fort Point. Riders cross the Golden Gate Bridge on a wide bike path, then through Vista Point to Old Fort Baker. Most people will ride over the Golden Gate Bridge and back, or to Sausalito, where ferries await most days to shuttle you back!

Our Alcatraz tours are designed to be a two-day two- tour experience. The date you book is the date you will visit Alcatraz Island, your bike tour is the day before your Alcatraz trip. For people who require a one-day scenario, contact us directly and we can help creatively fit both activities into your schedule!
The audio guided tour of Alcatraz lasts about 2.5 hours.Most people stay on Alcatraz Island about 2-3 hours but you are free to spend as much time on the island as you like, ferries bring you back about every 30 minutes. The California Sunset Tour is up to 3 hours, and includes an all-day bonus bike rental!
Alcatraz tour date and time cannot be changed. We can always change the day and time of the bike tour depending on availability.
Yes, if you miss the bike tour it does not negate your entry to Alcatraz but do contact us to make other bike tour arrangements!
