On Day 1, Your Morning Alcatraz tour is the Official tour of Alcatraz Island, Include boat trip to the Island and Entrance to the Island. Also Includes self-guided audio headset tour for each participant, available in multiple languages.

On Day 2, Ride Beyond the hills on this all electric bike tour! Explore the back alleys of North Beach’s “Little Italy” and pedal through Downtown – the beating heart of the city – on this quintessential San Francisco neighborhoods bike tour. Loop around the Giant’s Oracle Ballpark and houseboats. Pedal into the culturally rich Mission District to visit the Mural Alleys. Ride through the colorful Castro to trendy Nopa, where you can snap a photo in front of the iconic Painted Ladies of Alamo Square. Visit the Civic Center & Polk Gulch. By the time we park our bikes back at Fisherman’s Wharf, you’ll know the city like the back of your hand. Includes post- tour bonus bike rental so folks can head out & visit the Golden Gate Bridge!

Stefan was fab! We had a great experience with Stefan when we hired bikes for the day to cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge. He explained the route clearly and gave us great recommendations.

Separate to this, wouldn’t recommend buying ferry tickets through Bay City Bikes. They charged $3 more per ticket, and it’s easy enough to pick them up at the port.

Golden Gate Bridge tour We loved the tour which was made by the delightful Ginger. She was informative, helpful, considerate and entertaining and made the whole experience for all of us. Thank you Ginger!
The e-bikes were easy to use and made the cycling (and the couple of inclines) a breeze. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Adam is the best tour guide! We scheduled a "Streets of San Francisco Tour" with Bay City Bikes, and I would highly recommend this tour/outfitter/company to anyone. It's so conveniently located at the end of the cablecar line, the staff is super friendly, and Adam was a fantastic tour guide! He was truely passionate about the city, it's history, it's art and its future. He's also incredibly well informed. We saw the city from a point of view you just can't get on a bus or a car or even walking. By a stroke of luck no one else was scheduled and we had an excellent, personalized, private tour. Electric bikes made the city aproachable despite those crazy hills!

Golden Gate Bridge bike ride Great tour - Adam, our guide, was great and very knowledgeable on the local area (and beyond!) We got electric bikes which made the ride very easy so we could take in the scenery.

Do you do both tours on the same day?

Because we only get our Alcatraz ticket times one month in advance, we are not able to pre-book folks into a same day scenario, thusly we feature it as a two- day, two- tour package. For people who require a one-day scenario, contact us directly and we can help creatively fit both activities into your schedule!

How long is the Alcatraz tour and the bike tour?

Most people stay on Alcatraz Island about 2-3 hours. All of our bike tours are 2.5 to 4 hours depending on the tour, please see tour pages for details!

Can we change the Alcatraz tour for another day?

Alcatraz tour date and time cannot be changed. We can always change the day and time of the bike tour depending on availability.

What if we miss the bike tour, can we still go to Alcatraz?

Yes, if you miss the bike tour it does not negate your entry to Alcatraz but do contact us to make other bike tour arrangements!
