The tour departs daily at 11am (year-round) We ask for all guest to arrive at least 30 minutes early in order to complete their paperwork and get fitted to their bike. The tour is approximately 15 miles and lasts 3- 4 hours, with a refreshment break along the way. The tour departs from our Fisherman’s Wharf Tour Center, located at 2661 Taylor Street.
The tour is $115 and includes your electric bike, a guide and the post-tour all day bonus bike rental (helmet and lock also included.)
Our Streets of San Francisco is a full-city 15-mile all electric bike tour that covers many of San Francisco’s unique city neighborhoods. This tour starts in Fisherman’s Wharf, and rides through North Beach (the little Italy of San Francisco). From there it winds past Chinatown into the Financial District, around the high-end industrial buildings and couture boutique stores. The tour then continues out to the Ferry Building, along the SF waterfront towards the Bay Bridge, looping behind Oracle Park, a world-class urban baseball stadium positioned right on the Bay. Along this tour you will also see Rincon Hill, Chase Center, the Design District, the culturally rich Mission and Castro Districts, the murals of Clarion Alley, Lower Haight Ashbury, Alamo Square overlooking the Painted Ladies, Nopa, City Hall a SF Opera House, Polk gulch (the OG LGBT neighborhood of SF), and Aquatic Park.
Yes, we include pedal assist Electric Bikes that can last about 25 plus miles depending on usage. The included helmets are mandatory, as the tour is done on Electric bikes on bike lanes in the Streets of San Francisco. After the guided tour ends you may enjoy a free, bonus bike rental as the battery permit. Helmets are always included for free and recommended as well.
This tour is for riders ages 13 and older. We can make exceptions for slightly younger kids who are correctly skilled and sized.
It depends on the season, day of the week, and the tour, but our SOSF tours tend to be smaller more intimate groupings.
